Music Review: Jared Anderson "Where to Begin"

RESCUE (I need You Jesus) / I'm Coming Your Way / Hear Us from Heaven

Desperation Band member Jared Anderson steps away from congregational worship and sits down behind the piano for a new set of songs that takes his artistry in a surprisingly different direction. Anderson engages his singer-songwriter side on "Where to Begin". The result sounds, he says, like Ben Folds leading worship, or the church-going offspring of Billy Joel and Joni Mitchell.

This is a "socially conscious" worship album! Saying that, Jared Anderson takes a look around the inside of the church and deals with the need for living our worship as well as singing it! You've heard Pastor Aaron sing "Rescue" at REVOLUTION rallies and we use the same song in our prayer time... well, this is the album you can find it on and I've got to HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!
